A solution to a problem that shouldn't exist. Triumph decided that such was the reliability of the Stag, that a towing eye wouldn't be required.
However, over 50 years of experience has shown us otherwise, and so our towing eye provides a handy, secure and easily accessible location to attach a hook or strap to for recovery.
Our towing eyes are manufactured, here in the UK, from 10mm steel to give strength, and powder coated black to give protection against the elements.
Our towing eyes mount to the front cross-member bracket using existing holes, and fitting can be completed in a matter of minutes.
All required fixings are provided with every towing eye. High tensile bolts and nyloc nuts are used to give maximum strength and longevity.

Our towing eye for the Stag is not designed to be used for long distance towing. Use should be confined to gentle recovery. E.g. Winching on to a trailer or recovery vehicle.

"I had been putting off fitting IFI's towing eye which I bought recently, since grovelling under a Stag is not my idea of fun nowadays - tempus fugit & all that. However, yesterday it was on a ramp for a pre-MOT; meanwhile I fitted it literally within five minutes. Holes already there, pass bolts through & tighten nuts - simples! With hindsight I think I could have done it in 10 minutes ... even being flat on my back with the car on the ground. It is a win:win product. If I need to haul my Stag onto a trailer in future, it will be easier - win. If I don't need it, then my Stag is continuing to run beautifully - win. Thanks IFI, as you claim, your towing eye is well manufactured & designed plus simple to fit."

"Actually a sound practical and (hopefully not often) needed addition and a 5 minute job to remove if you're entering a concourse event. Has no detrimental effect to the running of the car, doesnt destroy any original aspect, costs next to nothing, doesnt affect viabilty of remanufacturing OE parts and serves a purpose. 10/10"

"I have fitted one, as you say, it was a 5 minute job. Hopefully I will never need it, but it’s there if I do. A great investment for peace of mind."

"Don’t even need ramps/jack. 10 min job to fit."

"Bought one for myself and my son‘s Stag. Easy install, heavy duty and utility."
